"Messy Church" at the Bowman Centre Archers Gate - 4pm first Friday in the month

There is something for all ages and it is informal.

It is held on a Friday because the pattern of many people’s lives makes this more convenient. There is a welcome with a cup of tea and a biscuit. There is a theme for each occasion which starts with craft activities that we hope everyone will enjoy. This is followed by fifteen minutes of informal worship and then a light meal. It starts at 4pm and finishes by about quarter past five. People arriving home from work can join in at whatever stage we have reached and we hope it will become a significant community activity as the months go by.

This kind of worship has become popularly known as ‘Messy Church’ so do come and join us. Everyone is welcome.

Programme for Lent

Lent Course. There will be a Lent Course at the Vicarage, led by the Vicar, at 7.00 pm on Wednesdays during Lent. It will explore the Creation starting with the importance of Darwin.

Lent Lunches. Each Wednesday during Lent there will be a Lent Lunch - see the programme in "The Bridge".
